Our Department's Special Talent Examination examines the basic field knowledge of the candidates in the field of theatre; the skills and creativity specific to the field of dramatic writing and dramaturgy; the ability to construct a complete text, composition, and editing by considering the requirements of literary genres; and measures language, expression, and spelling rules.
The exam consists of two stages. Stage I consists of two written exams lasting 60 minutes each. Stage II consists of an interview lasting 10–15 minutes.
Stage I
The Written Exam I measures candidates' composition, general culture, language and expression skills.
The Written Examination II measures the skills of the candidates for creativity and originality, the ability to construct situations and people in a dialogic order, and command of language.
Stage II
The basic knowledge of the candidates about the field of theatre is examined through an interview. Additionally, the potential of the candidates for improvisational creation specific to the field of dramatic writing-dramaturgy and direction is measured.
