Mission-Vision

Mission

The aim of the Performing Arts Department is to train competent theatre people who will contribute intellectually, theoretically, and literarily to the field of performing arts on a national and international level, be capable of producing original works, be high in critical thinking, analysis, and interpretation; focus on ecological, social, and ethical problems; be aware of the dynamics of the age; and adopt a pluralist and interdisciplinary approach. In our department, the project-based learning (PBL) method is actively used to encourage students to conduct research and projects.

Vision

It will provide the student with a critical and original perspective on theatre thought, practice and aesthetics; nurture the creativity skills and originality potential of the student; and objectively and critically address the current problems of the country and the world. It aims to present a contemporary, innovative, interdisciplinary education model that is handled at a distance and thus to develop field-specific research activities.
